Lindell successfully cleans up his act in the final round – "That result was of no use in the end."

Oliver Lindell's Sunday was a complete reversal of his Saturday round. He started his round from the tenth tee and, after an eagle on the 18th hole, finished with a score of 3 under par.

The good form continued when Lindell started his back nine with a birdie and also made a birdie on the third hole with a par five. After that, he recorded two bogeys, the latter of which came after his tee shot landed in the water on the sixth hole. However, Lindell equalled his best result of the competition (-3) and his overall result of +5 meant he finished in T55th place. However, there was no reason for real celebration after yesterday's failure.

"I played well today, and unlike yesterday, I sank a few putts. But that result was of no use in the end. Yesterday cost me dearly. Fortunately, I can now take a short break," said the taciturn Lindell.

The next competition is not until the end of June in Italy, where play will begin on 25 June. The Porvoo native made positive changes to his swing compared to yesterday.

"My backswing has been a little off, and I tried to straighten it out today, and it seems to have worked well."

Connor Syme of Scotland won the competition and his first DPWT victory with a score of -11. The Scot managed to defend his lead on the final day, playing a score of 70 (-1).
